More than 50 acres of the 848 acre property was completely remediated in accordance with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) voluntary action program. Originally a silver mine, through DeNovo's efforts the property is positioned for public recreational use, as well as a small number of discrete but spectacular home sites. The project included completing the remedial design, permitting and all negotiations with state, local and federal regulators. The construction phase of the project was completed ahead of schedule in six months time in October of 2009. The entire project represents more than $18,000,000 of investment including property acquisition, engineering and construction, and property repositioning costs.
